During your stay in our hospital, all our employees will be responsible for presenting themselves. You can ask every question you would like to have about your treatment and care. Hospital Derindere is provided by security guards who work 24/7 to ensure the safety of their patients. If you have any security problems, you can tell the nurse first, then the security officers. You can contact the Security Department, if you lost or forget your belongings during the hospitalization process or during your discharge. The following are points to note about safety:

  • Our security officers are authorized to take the ID after 22:00.

Tobacco and Tobacco Products Policy
Our hospital has a non-smoking policy. For this reason, all buildings and rooms are protected by smoke sensitive detectors. Smokers who want to smoke and companions can use the reserved area in the cafe. Thank you for not smoking during your stay in our hospital.
Cleaning Services
The cleaning unit serves 24 hours a day. Your room cleanliness is planned twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. If you need cleaning at other times, you can inform the floor secretary or the nurse.
The medication needs of our inpatients are covered by the pharmacy in our hospital.
Postal Services
Please inform the floor secretary for postal services in our hospital. Fee-based courier service can be organized at any time.
Flower and Room Decorating Services
Live flowers are not accepted in our hospital to prevent infection and allergic reactions. Your flowers will be kept by our hospital. A card will be sent to you instead of your flower. Incoming flowers are kept at the reception. If flowers are not received, they will be taken at the end of 3 days.
If you have room decoration requests please inform our nurse or floor secretary. The contracted company will provide fee-based service.
Religious Requests
We have prayer room in the 8th floor. Please contact your floor secretary or nurse to contact with the religious officer you would like to see.

Information for Visitors and Accompanyers
Inpatient Patient Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are between 10:00 and 22:00 each day. We believe that you will help nurses and security officers to have 2 people maximum in the same room, including the companion in the patient rooms.
Special Units Visiting Hours
  • Adult Intensive Care Visiting hours are between 14:00 - 15:00.
  • The duration of the visit is limited to 10 minutes.
  • Newborn Intensive Care Unit Visiting Times are between 11:00 - 12:00.
  • The visitor is accepted by appointment with Mother and Father.
Visiting Rules
  • During the visit, you should not sit in bed and talk with a loud voice to disturb other patients.
  • Visitors can not use tobacco and alcoholic beverages in patient rooms and in hospitals. Legal provisions are applied to the users.
  • Bringing children between 0-12 years old in order to control infection should be avoided.
  • You should provide hand hygiene by hand antiseptic in your room before touching the patient and the patient's surroundings during the visit.

Accompanying Rules
  • To ensure a peaceful environment for you, your patients and relatives; please do not speak loudly or not make noise in patient room, service floor and corridors. You can use the TV in the room by not disturbing others.
  • Accompany persons must not use tobacco and alcohol in the hospital.
  • Accompanyers can not bring food, drink, or give food or drink to the patient without consulting the physician or nurse.
  • Service nurses has be informed of changes about companion.
  • Companions can not transfer their patients in or out of the hospital, or can not change their bed, except for the physician or nurse concerned.
  • Please do not use electrical appliances such as water heater, etc. in your room due to causing technical problems.
In Case of Emergency
Please do not be alarmed in case of emergency such as fire, earthquake, etc. in the hospital and do not leave your room alone. In such cases, your nurse will help you. Do not interfere if there is a fire in your room. Please inform the nurse immediately.

Right of Benefiting From Healthcare Services Accordance Justice and Equlity
Every person who applies to our organization has the right to the maximum benefit from all existing diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation facilities, regardless of their physical, intellectual and social characteristics.
Our hospital stuff can not diagnose and treat our patients in a way that is contrary or deceptive to the rules and principles of medical practice. Patient selection is based on medical measurements where resources are limited, such as organ transplantation, in accordance with the decisions of the "Scientific Ethics Committee" or by the assigned committee of this unit.
Right to Have Respect and Reputation
The patient has the right to benefit from healthcare services that suitable to his personality values and in suitable environment. Our patient has right to be examined, diagnosed and treated im every circumstance, in a respectful, courteous, compassionate and friendly environment.

Our patients and their visters have the right to talk to, or refuse to see, those who are not directly related to the treatment, including a formal visit to the health care provider, or who have no formal contact with our hospital.

All information obtained during the diagnosis and treatment of the individuals referred to our hospital will be kept confidential after death. This information is disclosed to relevant authority due to patient’s or his / her successors’ permission or court decision.
To Identify, Select and Change Health Instutation and Personnel
Our patients have the right to know the identity of all the officials involved in our organization. The patient have the right to choose and change the doctor and / or the health care institution at any stage of the treatment. Our patient may request to choose another institution for his/her process while at diagnose or treatment stage in our hospital.
Right To Be Informed and To Request Information
Our patients or their legal successors have right to obtain full and new information about themselves. All the documents about the processes of the diagnosis, treatment, possible course of the disease and other documentation are shared by Derindere Hospital’s Chief Surgeon as soon as possible.
Our patients have the right to see at their own files and to make copies at every stage of their diagnosis and treatment. Information about patient’s private and family life cannot be obtained for any reason unless there is medical requirement and the patient does not allow it.
The patient has the right to request and receive an invoice for the fee that he / she will pay for the service provided by the health institution.
The patient has the right to obtain information about the hospital rules and practices to be implemented.
The patient has the right to request correction of the data relating to the illness and treatment which are not in accordance with the medical records.
Right To Communicate
The Patient who does not understand the official spoken language has the right to request an interpreter by paying for the purpose of communication.
Right To Reject, Stop and Consest
The patient has the right to participate in the decisions to be made in relation to the treatment, after medical and legal requirements, such as the risk of death or serious side effects related to his / her illness, problems with convalescence and possible outcome of success. If the patient uses this right, he / she accepts the routine procedures to be done.
If the consent of the legal representative of the hospital is necessary and the proposed intervention is urgent, the medical intervention may be done by two physician decisions’ by written approval if the consent can not be obtained on time.
Volunteerism is essential in the participation of patient in educational and research practise.
In case of rejection of the treatment, the physician will explain to the patient what is likely to happen and a written document will be obtained.
If the patient refuses treatment with a certificate, the relationship with our institution is terminated.
If a patient refuses treatment before, the patient has the right to receive the necessary medical care and treatment again. The staff in charge of our institution can not be allowed to interrogate and refute the patient's previous rejection.

Right To Appeal, To Sue and To Complain
The patient has all kinds of applications, complaints and lawsuits within the scope of the legislation in case of violation of patient rights.

Nothing can be done or demanded that could lead to death or life-threatening or violate bodily integrity or reduce mental or physical strength without the need for diagnosis, treatment or protection.
Euthanasia is forbidden. No mention of medical necessity or in any way whatsoever can be given to life. The life of anyone, including himself or someone else's request, can not be terminated.

Within the of hospital rules, our patients have the right to benefit from religious services. If available, the legally authorized representative of the patient has the right to bring a clergyman to suggest and pray according to the patient's religious needs.
The patient should provide accurate and complete information on current complaints, illnesses he has suffered, hospital admission, treatments used, medications used and health issues.
The patient must inform the competent doctor of any unexpected changes that occur during and after the treatment. The patient must tell him whether he or she understands exactly what is expected of them in relation to the operations to be performed.
Following Suggestions
The patient is obliged to follow the treatment plan recommended by the competent doctors responsible for the treatment. The patient is obliged to accept the care plan of the nurses and the relevant health personnel in accordance with the instructions of the authorized physician.
3. Rejection of planned treatment
If the patient refuses treatment or fails to follow the instructions of his / her doctor, it is his / her own responsibility for the consequences.

Patient Visitor
